Goodnight from Tumbledown Farm.

Stilton and I stood out in the field and watched the sunset this evening. It was a beautiful cool, quiet summers evening with nothing but the sound of the owls hunting in the distance. The baby owl tried it's best to look angry in one of the apple trees behind us, but no matter how cross it got hopping from branch to branch and bobbing it's head up and down at us, it was still a ridiculous bundle of baby fluff.

Beautiful photos - I love the sihouettes. Stilton is really admiring the scene!

Stilton loves an evening stroll. He always accompanies me when I go down the field. Being an ex town cat mind he likes to walk along the top of the fence rather than through the grass; he can't be doing with mucky paws!

The pics I like best are "shabby chic", "tumbledown farm", and the sunsets. The "shabby chic" thumbnail is tiny, and you almost have to imagine what it might contain, but it's evocative. You can find garden art all over the place. Are the Monet water lilies just pretty flowers, or is there more to it. No offence to Monet, but I do prefer "shabby chic".
