Pucker up!

Pucker up!

I'm afraid I've spent the last week running about from one end of the country to the other and so my time for blogging has been brief. I have a few lovely pictures to fill the gaps for a day or two more and promise to blog about my brief encounters with little owls, goats cheese and beautiful english country gardens in the very near future ;o)

What a pretty vibrant red flower! Is it a poppy?

I've had lots of adventures this week :o)

Yes it is a poppy, I took the picture this morning, the sun was very bright and the petals had folded in on themselves and were covered in hundreds of tiny little dew droplets.

Will we meet the goats or just the cheese?

Oh yes I took photo's of the goats as we milked them. Cheese was made whilst the milk was still warm :o)

Very lovely poppy. This is the type of poppies which my puppy is sniffing on my blog's header picture. They are beautiful in mass, but your image shows how lovely a poppy bloom is just by itself. Thanks!
