Just a quick note from me to let you know that it is probably going to be a little quiet from Tumbledown Farm for the next week or so. Some of you may know that much of my time recently has been spent looking after my beloved Aged P No. 1 (mum) who has been having mobility problems after a bad fall last year that badly damaged her "good" knee. Since having surgery on it last year I have been busy ferrying her back and forth to physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. This week she is having her "bad" knee replaced, so I am afraid I will have little time for blogging between running back and forth between the hospital and looking after Tumbledown and the goats for her.
Thank you so much to everyone for all the wonderful comments and messages you have sent me recently I have loved reading them all. I hope to be back with you on blogging form A.S.A.P.

RO, the best to you mum; I'm sure the surgery will go well. Love the photo of the Hamamelis.
Wishing your mum a speedy recovery with her soon to be bionic good knee!
Looking forward to your return!

Hope that all goes well with your mum's operation RO and that you're back blogging before long.
Dear RO, You will be sorely missed but I know that we shall all look forward to your return. In the meantime, I do hope that everything goes well for your mother, as I am sure it will, and please do give her my very best wishes. And do take the greatest care of yourself.
Hope all goes well. jim
we look forward to your return!
Oh, I do hope your mother does well in surgery and recovers well. We look forward to seeing you back once things have setteled down in your life. I am looking forward to seeing springtime view from the farm.
Hope the knee replacement goes well, we will miss you.
Good luck to your mom on the surgery, and here's hoping that life gets a little less hectic in the near future. Jess
Hi RO,
I hope your mum recovers speedily and the Goats are well behaved for you! ;)
Hope it all goes well. I have periods where I have to piece my Mother back together. I've found the best thing is to retain a sense of humour ... and some ear plugs!
Here's hoping all goes well. My aunt in law's best friend had hers replaced a couple of years ago and is a new woman!
All best wishes to your mum, RO, and remember to look after yourself too! xx jodi
Hope your Mum is on the mend soon. My Dad has had both his knees done in recent years.
I like your header
I hope all goes well with your mother. Make sure you look after yourself, too!
I send my well wishes and prayers for your mother! Lovely photos!
I hope she has a quick recovery and isn't in too much pain. Take care of yourself too!
I hope all goes well for your Mum, RO :-*
Wishing your Mom a very speedy recovery.

Thank you so much for all your comments. Your support really does mean a great deal to me. It has been a very worrying time as mum is a notoriously bad patient and unfortunately allergic to morphine which is rather crucial to this surgery and its pain relief.
She had the operation first thing yesterday morning and it seems to have gone well. She is still quite poorly this evening and they have kept her on oxygen since the operation but she is still able to dish out orders so I am confident that she will make a full recovery, even if it is a little slow.
